Preparing, pouring and finishing fresh concrete with a Power trowel to a buttered /polished floor (also known as polyconcrete).

Theory: Customer expectations, applications, pricing and sales strategies.
Site preparation, machine selection, accessories (knives, talons/overhead blades, trowel plates, Hand tools, etc.).

Concrete technology: Composition of concrete

Concrete chemistry: admixtures and additives, curing, Sealers

Practice: Pouring and levelling of concrete (+-30m²) and complete flattening into a finished floor. Dispense and add fibres, apply and removeApplication and removal of curing agents. Sprinkling quartz and hardening of concrete. Colouring and use of pigments. Impregnation and post-treatment of concrete.

Sanding and Polishing - Deep Grind

Deep sanding and polishing of concrete with Grinders.
Theory: Customer expectations, applications, pricing and sales strategies.
Overview of types of Machines, types of Diamond tools and bonds, and roadmap for renovating a piece of concrete.
Practical application: Renovating a piece of concrete (+-6m²) with Grinders and diamond tools, grouting, hardening and impregnating.

Sanding and polishing - Fast-Grind

Polishing concrete with the Fast-Grind system, a system for polishing with Power Trowel machines
Theory: Customer expectations, applications, pricing and sales strategies. Overview and operation of system and Machines, types of diamond tools, finish grade, etc.
Practice: Polishing a piece of concrete (+-6m²) with the FAST-GRIND System from grit 50 to 8000, incl. application of hardener and impregnation.

Concrete technology

Theoretical seminar about the composition of concrete, different cements, concrete types, aggregates and additives. Always with a feedback to the importance for the final result of specific concrete projects. With tips and tricks on ordering concrete, contact with concrete mixing plant, etc. Adapted to the relevant concrete types for participants (Exposed aggregate concrete, terrazzo, Polished concrete, Bush hammered concrete, Stamped concrete, ...)

Concrete repair and finishing with hand machines
Possible trainers: Koenraad Boel - Bart Storms - Thomas De Witte - Marc Clappers

Theory and practice: Concrete repair (filling pits, grouting, filling joints, etc.), and sanding and polishing concrete with hand machines. With a step-by-step plan for grinding and polishing and an overview of the various diamond tools (cup wheels and pads).

Concrete bush hammering

Theory: Customer expectations, applications, pricing and sales strategies of Bush hammered concrete.
Practice: Piece of concrete bush hammering +-6m² with Grinders and boucharding heads and finishing edges with system for bush hammering with hand machine.

Exposed aggregate concrete

Theory: Customer expectations, applications, pricing and sales strategies of Bush hammered concrete.
Overview and operation of various types of wax products. Concrete technology concerning composition of Exposed aggregate concrete and choice of aggregates.
Practice: Mixing Exposed aggregate concrete , treating with washout products and washing out a prepared piece of Exposed aggregate concrete.

Mixing and placing terrazzo concrete

Theory: Customer expectations, applications, pricing, sales strategies and site preparation for terrazzo concrete.
Concrete technology and composition of terrazzo mixtures.
Practice: Preparation of terrazzo concrete projects (profiles, creative mosaic elements, etc.), weighing, mixing and pouring of terrazzo mixtures. Sanding and polishing of concrete (+- 6m²) with Grinders.

ProtectGuard Color
Possible trainers: Koenraad Boel
Seminar on the operation and application of ProtectGuard Color, a Coloured impregnating agent for concrete.
Theory: Overview of the product range, applications, composition and operation of the products. Including extensive overview of correct application techniques, preparation, condition measurements etc.
Practical application: Application and spraying techniques for the correct application of ProtectGuard Color.

Specialisation Concrete Chemistry

Specialised seminar with a comprehensive overview of Chemical that can be used to clean, strip, harden, impregnate, colour and post-treat concrete.
With a strong focus on the properties and working of the active ingredients of the products (e.g. silicates, silanes, ...).
Practice: Demonstrations of the application and operation of various assortment Chemical (strippers, cleaners, hardeners, Sealers, ...)

Follow the steps below to register via the SME Portfolio:

• Purchase the item from the webshop (select multiple items if you want to register several people)
• Select "Pay on account" as payment method and "Pick up at warehouse" as shipping method
• Please state the names of the participating persons in the note
• Submit an application via the KMO Portfolio, at the latest 2 working days before the start of the training course
• Pay your part (total amount - 30%) to the SME Portfolio
• The remaining amount will be deposited by SME Portfolio and paid to us.
• As a registered service provider, we approve the file if it has been requested in time

IMPORTANT: payment should not be made to us, but to Vlaio, the organisation behind the KMO Portefeuille. As a company, you yourself must submit the application to the KMO Portefeuille. KMO Portefeuille applications must be submitted at the latest 14 days after the performance, but our internal policy is that training courses must always be paid for in advance. We ask you to take this into account and to start the file at the latest 2 working days before the start of the training.

CANCELLATION CONDITIONS

Have you been registered for a course, but can no longer attend? Then the following special cancellation conditions apply:

• Cancellation more than 14 calendar days prior to the day of training is possible free of charge. If necessary, we will refund the full amount of the registration fee.
• If the cancellation occurs between 14 and 8 calendar days before the start of the training, 50% of the registration fee is due.
• For cancellations as of 7 or less calendar days before the start of the training, 100% of the registration fee is due. If you are unable to attend and you send a colleague, we will not charge extra. Please contact us with the name and any dietary information (allergies intolerances, veggie/vegan) so we can prepare all documents for the new person.
• If the training cannot take place due to an unforeseen event, we will inform you as soon as possible about a new date. If this new date does not suit you, we will look for a solution together.
