Coloured bonding primer for bicomponent products on concrete

Primer that improves the adhesion of bicomponent products to concrete

Primer Guard® Color is a product intended to be used as a primer for any application of the bicomponent products of the Guard Industrie range: ProtectGuard Color® Two-Component or AntiGraffiti Guard® Special Concrete. It facilitates adhesion through its ability to adhere strongly to the material. In this way, perfect adhesion of the bicomponent products is ensured.

Primer Guard® Color is an impregnation product. The substrate remains permeable to air and water vapour.

INSTRUCTIONS

Preparation of the substrate:

  • Apply the product to a clean, dust- and grease-free and dry surface.

Application:

  • Use the product in its pure form: do not dilute.
  • Shake the container well for 1 minute before use and carry out a test beforehand.
  • Apply in one go from bottom to top.
  • The Primer Guard® Color must have a sticky effect when touched with a finger. If not, apply a new layer.
  • Primer Guard® Color should remain dust-free for the first 3 hours after application.
  • Primer Guard® Color is coverable after 4 hours at a temperature of 20°C. However, it is recommended to apply the sold bicomponent product within 4 hours to 48 hours after application of Primer Guard® Color.
