Terrazzo & UHPC training (waiting list).

This course focuses on the composition, placement and finishing of terrazzo concrete and UHPC. The course consists of a theoretical part and a hands-on workshop in which the participants, in groups, will calculate, weigh, compose and place a terrazzo and UHPC mixture themselves.

Afterwards, we will completely sand and finish cast terrazzo and UHPC tiles with hand machines. Please note: this course does not cover the sanding and polishing of floors. We recommend to follow this course in combination with the sanding and polishing course where the focus is on sanding, finishing and renovating concrete and terrazzo floors.

IS COVERED IN THE TRAINING:

• Theory of concrete composition
• Preparing the substrate
• Creative possibilities of terrazzo (decorative elements, pigments, granulates, etc.)
• Placing profiles
• Composition terrazzo
• Pouring and levelling concrete
• Sanding, grouting, polishing and impregnating concrete

DAILY INDEPENDENCE:

• 8.30 reception with coffee and gingerbread
• 9:00 Start of morning programme
• 12:00 Sandwich lunch
• 12.30 Start of afternoon programme
• 15.30 Evaluation and presentation of certificates
• 16:00 End of training

• Submit an application via the KMO Portfolio, at the latest 2 working days before the start of the training course
• Pay your part (total amount - 30%) to the SME Portfolio
• The remaining amount will be deposited by SME Portfolio and paid to us.
• As a registered service provider, we approve the file if it has been requested in time

IMPORTANT: payment should not be made to us, but to Vlaio, the organisation behind the KMO Portefeuille. As a company, you yourself must submit the application to the KMO Portefeuille. KMO Portefeuille applications must be submitted at the latest 14 days after the performance, but our internal policy is that training courses must always be paid for in advance. We ask you to take this into account and to start the file at the latest 2 working days before the start of the training.
